You can run a batch task to generate the Work in Progress (WIP) report and track the status of your project. The WIP report contains data on the work performed for each confirmation level and the remaining work.
Procedure
- Decide whether you want to run the batch task sequence on an entire project or some project files:
- To run batch task sequences on an entire project, go to the Projects view and select the project you want to run batch task sequences on.
- To run batch task sequences on a file or a selection of files, go to the Projects view, select a project, and then go to the Files view and select the file or files you want to run batch task sequences on.
- On the Home tab, select Batch Tasks.
- Select WIP Report.
- Select Next.
- On the Files page, all files for the active project are listed. Select the files on which you want the batch task to be run.
Note: If you are working with a Trados GroupShare server-based project, if any of the selected files cannot be downloaded or checked out from the server, the files will be automatically cleared in the list and a message is displayed at the bottom of the page indicating why those files cannot be processed.
- Select Next.
- On the Settings page:
- Under Report Settings, select Exclude locked segments from report if you don't want to include locked segments in your report.
- Under Select the required type of work for confirmation levels and match type, consult the Confirmation Level column, and for each confirmation level, select a Required Type of Work from the available list: None, Translation, Post-editing, Review and Sign-off.
- Select Finish.
