Adding columns to layouts

In the Projects view and Files view, wherever data is displayed in rows and columns you can control the screen layout by adding columns. To customize the layout even further, you can move a column, by selecting the column header and dragging it into the required position.

About this task

The options for editing the screen layout are on the context menu that is displayed when you right-click a column header. You can also use the Customize Layout dialog to change the existing layout. In the Files view you can create a new layout using the New Layout dialog.

Procedure

  1. Go to theProjects view or Files view.
  2. Right-click a column header to display the context menu.
  3. Select the column you want to add:
    • If you work in the Projects view, select the name of the column you want to add.
    • If you work in the Files view, select the name of the column you want to add from the five categories:
      • Analysis > [column name]
      • Confirmation > [column name]
      • File Assignment > [column name]
      • General > [column name]
      • Package > [column name]
