Alerts in the Notifications pane

Trados Studio displays updates about your cloud projects in the Notifications tab . Here you are also notified of any updates to your cloud account licenses and of new available versions of Trados Studio.

Troubleshooting error notifications

When Trados Studio cannot complete the action you have taken, an error message is displayed in the Notifications tab. There are many causes of error notifications. Many are out of Trados Studio's control, including lost internet connection and insufficient memory on your computer. Some can be avoided if you understand the situations in which these errors can occur:

Invalid request

This error indicates that your request could not be processed by the RWS Language Cloud server for one of the following reasons:
  • your computer may be sending automatic queries. Wait a few minutes then try again later.
  • your action has generated a URI that is too large to process. Try again with less items.

No license seats available

cloud automatically reclaims and reassigns licenses when a device is offline or is not using the cloud account license for certain period of time defined time-out period. Wait until a license seat is available, or contact your cloud account administrator.
