Configuring font mapping between source and target text in file types
Use the Font mapping settings to specify the fonts which Trados Studio uses in the target file to replace the fonts used in the source file.
Procedure
- Decide where you want to use the font mapping between source and target text:
- For the active project, go to the Projects view, and on the Home tab, select Project Settings.
- For all future projects, go to .
- Expand the type of file for which you want to specify Font mapping.
- Select Font mapping.
- Select Use font mapping for the following languages.
- Add the languages for which you want to enable font mapping, if not already present:
- Right-click anywhere in the white space, and, from the context menu, select Add new language(s)....
- In the Add language(s) dialog, select the checkboxes corresponding to the languages you want to add.
- Add the target font for each language:
- Specify the other file type settings, if necessary, and select OK.
