Configuring .NET Libraries file types

You can configure .NET Libraries settings to customize the way this file type is processed during translation or review.

Procedure

  1. To configure file type settings, go to:
    • Projects view > Home > Project Settings, for the active project.
    • File > Options, for all future projects.
  2. Expand File Types and select .NET Libraries.
  3. On the Common page, choose how content is processed:
    • Place target dll in a folder matching the target culture - creates a folder for the target culture to place the generated dll in.
    • Use neutral culture when generating target ("de-DE" becomes "de")- generates the target in a culture invariant manner. The generated target is associated with a language but not with a specific country/region.
    • Convert hotkey character (& or _) to placeholder - converts the "&" and "_" characters to placeholder tags.
    • Signing key - For signed modules, the framework requires the satellite assembly to be signed with the same key in order to be accepted and loaded. Click the Select Key button to load an *.snk file.
  4. On the Embedded content page, customize how embedded content is processed:
    • Enable embedded content processing - extracts content embedded in the document in one of the following ways:
      • Extract on defined document structure - extracts content based on document structure rules. Click Add to add Document structure information
      • Extract in all paragraphs - extracts all paragraphs that meet Tag definition rules. Click Add to add new definition rules.
  5. Click OK to close the window.
