Creating batch task sequences for new projects

You can create batch task sequences to customize the type of batch tasks performed on your files and the order in which Trados Studio performs them. These sequences can then be stored for future use.

Procedure

  1. Go to File > Setup > Task Sequences.
  2. In the Task Sequences dialog, select Add... .
  3. In the New Task Sequence dialog:
    1. Enter a meaningful name and description for the new task sequence.
    2. Select a task from the Available Tasks: column, and then select Add to transfer them to the Selected Tasks: column. If you get the order wrong, remove the tasks from the Selected tasks column and then add them again in the correct order. The tasks are performed in the order you see under the Selected Tasks: column.
  4. Select OK when the sequence is complete.
The new task sequence now appears in the Task Sequences dialog.
  5. Select Close.
The new task sequence now appears for selection in menus and wizards.
