Editing with Bookmarks
Use bookmarks to navigate to specific sections of your translation, so you can start editing the target segments faster.
- Displaying the Bookmarks pane
Custom bookmarks with notes enable you to navigate to specific sections of your translated file. Trados Studio can automatically track the segment you were last translating in a file or project. When opening a file, Trados Studio can automatically jump to the last accessed segment. - Using automatic bookmarks
Bookmarks automatically keep track of the last accessed segment in any file you open. This allows you to easily go back to where you left off in the last file or project you worked on. Automatic bookmarks are always listed at the top of the bookmark list and have a green icon. - Adding manual bookmarks
In addition to the automatic bookmarks, you can add manual bookmarks, with notes, to any segment in any file. - Filtering bookmarks
By default, the Bookmarks pane shows all the bookmarks you ever created across any document. This may not be so handy if you have a lot of bookmarks, which is where filtering comes in. - Specifying bookmark behavior
You can determine whether opening a file triggers an automatic jump to the last segment you worked on.
