Enabling verification results

Choose and configure the verifiers that Trados Studio uses to check your translated or reviewed text for inconsistencies.

Procedure

  1. Decide where you want to enable and configure the checks.
    • To specify verification settings for your active project, select Project Settings > Verification for all language pairs and Project Settings > Language Pairs > [specific language pair] > Verification for a specific language pair.
    • To specify verification settings for future projects, select File > Options > Verification for all language pairs and File > Options > Language Pairs > [specific language pair] > Verification for a specific language pair.
    • To specify verification settings during batch tasks, go to the Projects view or the Files view, select Batch Tasks, choose a batch process and on the Settings page specify your verification options for all language pairs or for a specific language pair.
    • To specify verification settings in a project template, create a project template (go to the Projects view and, in the Tasks group, select Create Project Template) and specify verification settings for all language pairs or for a specific language pair in the Project Template Settings dialog or edit an existing project template.
  2. Expand the tree of the verifier you want to configure and make the changes:
  3. To enable XML validation:
    1. Select File Types from the navigation tree and then select the XML file type for which you want to perform validation.
    2. Under the file type you selected, select Validation from the navigation tree.
    3. Select what XML validation you want to perform.
  4. Select OK to close the dialog and save your changes.
