Internet connectivity and offline mode
When working with cloud projects, Trados Studio requires access to the internet for saving and syncing your changes to your cloud account. You can use Trados Studio in offline mode for a limited period. If you choose to work offline after downloading a cloud task, your offline changes are synced as soon as you get back online.
Offline grace period
Trados Studio lets you access and edit cloud project files even if you are offline. With an active cloud subscription license, you can use Trados Studio in offline mode for a total of 48 hours of working time. After this offline grace period, Trados Studio asks you to get back online to validate that your subscription license is still active.
If you cannot connect to the internet or your subscription has expired during the offline grace period, Trados Studio will stop working. Any updates that you made offline during the grace period are saved locally before Trados Studio closes once the offline period expires. This means that as soon as you go online and your subscription is reactivated, your offline work is synced back to the cloud and you can continue where you left off.
