Logging in to your cloud account from Trados Studio

Log in to your cloud account to work with cloud projects, cloud-based machine translation and cloud-based terminology.

Procedure

  1. Open Trados Studio.
  2. Select the area from the upper-right hand corner.
  3. Go to the Log in tab.
  4. Enter your username and password, and select Log In.
To also open your account in a browser, click the My Account link at the bottom of the Cloud Sign In page. From here you can start provisioning your cloud account and link your Language Weaver account.

Multiple accounts

Your RWS ID can be linked to more than one cloud account. This happens when multiple project managers add you as a member of their account. When you sign in to cloud with your cloud credentials, Trados Studio shows all the cloud accounts that you are a member of.

If your RWS ID email address is linked to more than one cloud account, select the account you want to log in to under Choose Account and enable Show projects from current account only to filter out projects from your other cloud accounts. Otherwise, Trados Studio populates the Projects view with the projects available on all of these accounts.

You can switch accounts at any time, by clicking on your user initials in the upper corner to display the Cloud Sign In page again.

Different cloud accounts can give you access to different resources. Depending on the subscription available for your selected account, you may be able to also activate Trados Studio before starting to work on cloud projects.
