Rejecting alignment connections

If you already confirmed a manual alignment, you can reject it to make further changes to it.

Procedure

  1. Go to the Welcome or Translation Memories view, and on the Home tab, select Align Documents > Open Alignment.
  2. Correct alignment connections.
  3. Select the connection line or the target/source segment to highlight the segments in blue.
  4. On the Ribbon, select Reject. Alternatively, you can also right-click the segment, and, from the context menu, choose Reject.

When you reject a confirmed alignment, the continuous connection line turns into a dotted line. Trados Studio sets the alignments that you reject after confirmation to Rating: Good, Quality Value: 100, Unconfirmed.

If you want to reapply the rating and quality value that Trados Studio set automatically when you aligned the files, disconnect then realign the alignment pair.
