Running custom batch task sequences on existing projects or files
In addition to the default batch task sequences, you can customize batch task sequences which suit your needs.
Procedure
- Decide whether you want to run the batch task sequence on an entire project or some project files:
- To run batch task sequences on an entire project, go to the Projects view and select the project you want to run batch task sequences on.
- To run batch task sequences on a file or a selection of files, go to the Projects view, select a project, and then go to the Files view and select the file or files you want to run batch task sequences on.
- On the Home tab, select Batch Tasks.
- Select Custom.
- On the Batch Tasks page, select tasks from the Available Tasks list, and then select Add to transfer them to the Selected Tasks list.
- Select Next.
- On the Files page, consult the files to be batch processed for each language, and select or clear the checkboxes next to the files which do not suit your translation purpose.
- Select Next.
- On the Settings page, make any adjustments to the default settings. These settings vary depending on the tasks you chose to include in the batch task sequence.
- Select Finish.
- Select Close when you have finished working with the task results. Any reports generated from the batch task are displayed in the Reports view.
- If you are working with a Trados GroupShare server-based project, switch to the Files view, right-click the files that you have just edited, and then select Check in.
