Setting up AutoCorrect
AutoCorrect settings can be customized for each target language that Trados Studio supports.
Procedure
- Go to , and then, select .
- In the Options dialog, in the navigation tree, select EditorAutoCorrect.
- Select the target language you want to change the AutoCorrect settings for.
- Change automatic capitalization options:
- Correct TWo INitial CApitals
- Capitalize first letter of sentences
- Correct accidental usage of cAPS lOCK key
- (Optional) Add exceptions to the capitalization options.
- Enable or disable replacing straight quotes with smart quotes. Smart quotes automatically replace the straight quotes with the typographic quotation marks that correspond to the target language. For example, for a French translation, the quotes (" ") will be replaced with guillemets (« »).
- Set up what gets replaced as you type.
- Select OK to save your settings.
