The navigation pane in Project view
In the Projects view, the navigation pane is where you can filter what projects are displayed in the right-hand pane.
By default the navigation pane is expanded. To minimize the navigation pane, click the Minimize the Navigation Pane button at the top of the navigation pane. To expand the navigation pane, click the Expand the navigation pane button.
Filtering your projects
There are five different criteria that you can use to filter what projects are displayed on the right-hand pane. Selecting any choice from these options will exclude projects that do not match the selection.

| Projects name | - | Type project name keywords in the text field to instantly filter your open projects. |
| Status | Show all projects | Shows all projects open in Trados Studio. |
| In Progress | Shows only the project that are not yet marked as complete. | |
| Complete | Shows only the projects that have been marked as complete. | |
| Due date | Show all projects | Shows all the projects, regardless of their due date. |
| Overdue | Shows only the uncompleted projects that have passed the designated due date. | |
| Due within 1 week | Shows only the uncompleted projects with the date for completion due within one week. | |
| Due within 1 month | Shows only the uncompleted projects with the date for completion due within one month. | |
| Type | Show all projects | Shows all projects, regardless of their type. |
| Standard projects | Shows only local projects, TMS projects and projects created from offline cloud packages. | |
| Single file project | The project was automatically created when a document was opened by using the Translate Single Document command. | |
| Trados GroupShare projects | Shows only the Trados GroupShare projects. | |
| Cloud projects | Shows only the cloud projects in the list. This option is available for Trados Studio 2024 and later. | |
| <Custom type projects> | Shows only projects created in third-party applications. For each type of third-party project available in the list, theType drop-down is populated with a corresponding filtering option. For example: LingoTek Projects, MultiTrans projects. To work with such projects in Trados Studio, first install the relevant plug-in from the Add-ins tab RWS AppStore. Offline cloud project packages and TMS packages are considered standard projects. | |
| Customer | Show all projects | Shows all the projects, regardless of the customer assigned to it. |
