Using wildcards in Find and Replace
You can use regular expressions when finding and replacing text in the Editor view and Translation Memories view.
To do this, go to the Home tab and select Find or Replace editing group. In the Find and Replace dialog, select the Use Wildcards option.
You can use:
- A question mark ? wildcard to match a single character at the current position.
- An asterisk * wildcard to match zero or more characters at the current position.
For example, searching for ' tea*coffee' would match:
'tea and coffee'
'tea or coffee'
'tea, coffee'
