The Home tab contains the most frequently used commands for working with translation memories (TMs) in Trados Studio.

Align Documents | Select this option to pair one source file to its corresponding target file and generate one single alignment result (*.sdlalign) file. | ||
Select this option to align several pairs of files at the same time. This generates an alignment result ( Trados Studio sends the TUs that result from all the generated alignment result files to the same TM. | |||

Terminology Management | Terminology Management Select this option to open MultiTerm. MultiTerm is the main client component of MultiTerm Desktop Desktop. It enables you to manage termbases and termbase content. | ||
Software Localization | Select this option to open Passolo where you can create new or work with existing localization projects. Passolo is a localization tool for text resource translation and software localization. Text resources are the text components of a software that are displayed on screen. The Essential version of Passolo, included as a separate download when you purchase Studio, includes all the functions you need to localize software. However, it has some restrictions compared to the Passolo Professional and Passolo Team editions. | ||
