Adding users with multi-factor authentication access
As administrator or lead project manager, you can add users to the Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) group to ensure that those users can log in to the Language Cloud application only if they have both regular credentials and a unique MFA code per session.
About this task
Users with MFA access must be included in the Multi Factor Authentication group, in addition to their regular group (which gives them their role) or their associated service type.
Unlike other groups which are associated with a role, the Multi Factor Authentication group is not associated with any role. There is one Multi Factor Authentication group provisioned by default by the system, and you cannot create other custom Multi Factor Authentication groups.
If you are adding the user for the first time
Procedure
- Log in to Trados Team (by accessing this link: http://languagecloud.sdl.com/lc).
- Go to the Users view.
- Select either Members > New Member or Guests > New Guest, and provide the user details as per usual. Under Groups, make sure that you select both the Multi Factor Authentication group (for MFA access) and a group that gives your user a role.
- Select Invite.
