When you batch edit segments (TUs) you delete their tags or field values, change their field values, or replace text. You cannot revert any batch edit action.
Before you begin
Before you can batch edit segments (TUs), you must filter them. Only filtered segments can be batch edited. Therefore, create a filter and apply it before you follow the procedure below.
Procedure

- Go to the Resources view.
- Select .
- Select the check box corresponding to the TM you want to maintain.
- Expand the TM Maintenance menu and select the language pair fir which you want to perform maintenance operations.
- In the Batch Actions wizard:
- Select Choose Operation, and then Edit translation units.
- Select Operation Details and specify your batch changes:
- Under Continuation, select one of the available options:

- Only allow one edit action for each TU - If you select this option, the system checks whether it can apply the first specified batch requirement below (Delete tags, for example). If the first batch requirement is applied on some segments, the rest of the batch requirements will not be applied on those segments. If the first batch requirement is not applied on some segments, the next batch requirement is applied on those segments.
- Under Delete tags, select the check boxes of the tags you want to delete across your TUs: Delete text placeholder tags (not recommended), Delete paired tags, Delete standalone tags.
