Connected devices

The subscriptions or packages you purchase allow you to use a given number of connected devices and browser connections.

Trados Team can enable you to view all the devices used on your environment and deregister (delete) a device in order to free up a Trados Studio licence. Note that, to see the list of connected Trados Studio devices, you must activate Trados Studio on your devices, and then log in to the Trados Studio application.

Trados Team can also enable you to view the active browser connections in use and deregister (delete) them to free up licence spots.

To view a list of the devices connected on your environment, in Trados Team, select your user account, and then go to Manage Account > Connected Devices. The following information is available on the Connected Devices page:
  • Device name – The name of the device used to connect. In the case of web browsers, the name and version of the browser.
  • Device type – Whether the user was connected to Trados Studio (Desktop PC) or Trados Team (Web Browser).
  • OS – The operating system of the user's machine, along with its version.
  • Location – The general location of the user.
  • Username – The user name used to connect.
  • Last used – The date and time of the last initiated session.
  • Online – Whether the user is currently online or not.
To deregister (delete) a device, select the checkbox next to that device on its corresponding row, and then select Delete > Yes.
