For example, if you download files which belong to 2 projects, each project having 3 target languages (ja-jp, es-es, and it-it), the result of the bulk download action will be 2*.ziparchives (one for each project) each with three language subfolders (ja-jp, es-es, it-it). - Identify tasks from one project and select their check boxes. - Extract the files from the
*.ziparchive and work offline on the current version (latest version):- For the Engineering task, the current version is a source file. The file name is concatenated as follows: task ID + Underscore symbol + source file name + source file extension.
- For the DTP task, the current version is a fully translated target file. The file name is concatenated as follows: task ID + Underscore symbol + target file name + target file extension.
- Work on your files offline:
- Translate or edit the files.
- Rename the files. If you rename your file, make sure that you DO NOT delete the task ID. If you delete the task ID, the system cannot match your file with the project it belongs to when you perform the batch upload operation.
- Save the file with a different file type extension. If you change the file type extension, make sure the new file type extension is included and configured in the file type configuration of the project.
