The May 2024 release introduces the following features and enhancements:
- Administrators can add links to external content, so that all account users can have access to this information from within Trados Team in the form of a custom menu. Expand the Help & Documentation icon on the main header to check if your account has any available custom menus.
- Administrators can add custom widgets to the Dashboard view in order to provide information or notifications to all account users. The widgets can contain text, images, and links.
- All users can configure the time zone in which dates are expressed within Trados Team and its email notifications. By default, all dates are expressed in the time zone of your browser. You can choose from a wide range of time zones expressed in UTC format.
- Linguists can open Trados Online Editor in a lightweight format if Administrators, Lead Project Managers or Project Managers enable the Simplified Editing task configuration when configuring workflows. The Simplified Editing configuration is available for the following tasks: Translation, Linguistic Review, Implement Linguistic Review.
- Administrators, Lead Project Managers, and Project Managers can configure the number of days after which Human tasks can be completed automatically by the system and marked as Elapsed in reports. As part of this change, the Hold for Feedback tasks have a default of 90 days after which they are completed automatically. The value is stored in the Closed after (days) field. You can specify the Closed after (days) value for all Human tasks, but specifying the value is mandatory only for Hold for Feedback tasks.
- Users can copy a subset of project settings (Verification settings) across project templates.
