Project conversations and comments
Project stakeholders need to communicate either within Trados Team or across Trados Customer Portal and Trados Team. To do this, stakeholders engage in conversations which consist of comments.
- Project stakeholders can leave comments on projects either in Trados Team or in Trados Customer Portal. The project comments can be viewed in both platforms. For this to happen, the Visible in Customer Portal check box needs to be selected in Trados Team when adding comments.
- Project stakeholders from Trados Team can leave comments on projects. The project comments can be viewed in Trados Team only for internal project management purposes. For this to happen, the Visible in Customer Portal check box needs to be cleared in Trados Team when adding comments.
The project comments can be consulted at any time and are centralized in one place easing the need to communicate via email, chat or phone.
Project conversations and comments can be managed from the project Conversations tab and from the All Projects side-panel by Customer Requesters and Customer Requesters Restricted, and by any custom role which has the relevant permissions.
