Project editing
After your start your project, you can edit various project details, the project name, the resources, and the settings. You cannot add new languages to an existing project. You cannot replace the existing source files with updated versions of these source files, but you can add new files to an existing project.
- Managing project managers
While you are creating your project, you can designate users who act as project managers for a given project. If you do not specify a project manager during project creation, you can specify one from the Settings tab of a project. - Editing project TM and verification settings
You can edit the TM settings and verification settings of an existing project. - Editing locked content setting
You can enable or disable the source content editing. - Editing project templates
You can edit the project template used to create a cloud project. - Editing custom fields
Once you project is started, you can edit its custom fields from the project settings. - Editing project due date
Edit the project due date if the project requirements or flow require adjustment. - Editing project completion and archival interval
Projects can be completed manually, but projects can also receive the Completed or Archived statuses automatically after the number of days specified in the project Settings tab have passed. When creating or editing project templates or projects, use the Settings tab to specify the project completion configuration and the project archival configuration. - Editing translation engines
You can either select a new translation engine or edit the resources in your existing translation engine if you want to adjust your translation leverage. - Editing file type configurations
You can edit a file type configuration straight from the project which uses it. - Editing task due date
You can edit the due date for any active task. - Editing PerfectMatch mappings
You can change any existing PerfectMatch mappings if the files are currently being worked on as part of the Bilingual Engineering task or if the files have not reached the PerfectMatch task in the workflow. - Importing and exporting Verification settings
You can import Verification settings as a*.jsonfile. Conversely, you can export Verification settings as a*.jsonfile. - Viewing workflow template used in project
You can check a read-only view of the workflow template used in the project workflow. - Viewing the schedule template of a started project
You can access the schedule template in a project in read-only mode.
