Repairing localizable files
When you upload localizable files, you submit a file type which can be processed by the next stage of the translation workflow. Access the Engineering task assigned to you from the Inbox view.
About this task
Note that is a file is returned to a workflow task that precedes DTP, all the changes made to that file during the initial DTP task must be redone from scratch in the subsequent DTP task.
Procedure
- Log in to Trados Team (by accessing this link: http://languagecloud.sdl.com/lc).
- Go to the Inbox view.
- Select the Active tab.
- Identify the task and select the check box corresponding to the task row.
- Do one of the following:
- If the file type configuration has missing settings, select Edit Project File Type Configuration. Select the file type, and then edit and save its settings.
- If the file type configuration is unsupported, select the file row, and Replace file. Browse for the file which has the correct (supported) file type. Make sure that the file you upload has a maximum size of 1GB.
- Submit the files and select Complete.
- Select one of the available transitions (outcomes):
- If the project is based on any workflow template, except the Flexible workflow template, select Done to move the file onto the next workflow task.
- If the project is based on the Flexible workflow template
- Select Send to Translation to move the file back to the Translation task (as of November 2023)
- Select Send to Linguistic Review to move the file back to the Linguistic Review task (as of November 2023)
- Select Send to Customer Review to move the file back to the Customer Review task (as of November 2023)
- Select Send to Implement Customer Review to move the file back to the Implement Customer Review task (as of November 2023)
- Select Done to move the file onto the next workflow task (as of November 2023)
