Trados Team for translators
As a translator, you can work on a translation assignment alone or as part of a group. You can translate the content from scratch or implement the corrections of the linguistic review in Trados Studio or in Trados Online Editor.
Your capabilities on the platform derive from a set of permissions already configured.
After accepting the task assigned to you, you can open files in either Trados Studio or in Trados Online Editor for any of the following tasks: Bilingual Engineering, Translation, Linguistic Review, Implement Linguistic Review.

Translate the content assigned to you in Trados Team by accessing Trados Studio straight from Trados Team. - Translating automatically via Trados Online Editor
Translate the content assigned to you in Trados Team by accessing Trados Online Editor straight from Trados Team. Access the Translate task assigned to you from the Inbox view. - Translating via Trados Studio packages
Translate the content assigned to you in Trados Team by using offline Trados Studio packages. Access the Translate task assigned to you from the Inbox view. - Handling automated verification checks
If enabled in the workflow, the Automated QA Check task runs after a completed Translation task or a completed Linguistic Review task. Learn how you can handle the verification messages which result from the Automated QA Check task. - Downloading SDLXLIFF files
You can download the files you need to translate or review in*.sdlxliffformat as an alternative to the other translation/review options. - Uploading SDLXLIFF files
You can upload an*.sdlxlifffile on which you worked offline. - Downloading source files
You can download the source files you need to translate or review. This is useful if you want to keep a backup of the original file in its native file format. - Downloading intermediate target files from Trados Online Editor
You can download the target file of your translation at any time from Trados Online Editor. An intermediate target file is a file for which translation, review or sign-off is still in progress. - Downloading latest file version
You can download the latest version of a project file at any time, in*.sdlxlifffile format or native file format. You can also choose to download only completed files (by selecting the Only completed files check box). - Downloading target files
You can download the target project files in native format at any time from your Inbox. You can also choose to download only completed files (by selecting the Only completed files check box). - Downloading the files of all your accepted tasks
You can download the files of all your accepted tasks as a*.ziparchive. You can then work on these files offline and upload them individually after you finish your work. You can also choose to download only completed files (by selecting the Only completed files check box). - Uploading files for all your accepted tasks
After you worked offline on the files corresponding to your accepted tasks, you can batch upload (bulk upload) them. You can replace files for tasks that have the same or different task types, from the same project or from different projects. File replacement is useful if the target files contain errors or if you have a new version of the target file you want to work on. - Renaming files for started projects
You can rename the files of a started project from the Files sub-tab. You can rename files individually, as batch renaming is not available at the moment. - Implementing linguistic review
Check the translated content, edit it, or approve it before the target files are generated. Access the Implement Customer Review task assigned to you from the Inbox view. - Consulting task details
You can consult the task details at any time to understand the context of that task better. Task details refer to information such as: task type, creation date, project, languages, word count or assigned user (owner). - Rejecting tasks
You can reject the tasks you cannot work on. - Downloading Analysis Statistics reports
You can download file-level reports for the tasks you work on. - Filtering tasks
If you have more than one task assigned to you in your Inbox view, you can organize and prioritize your work by filtering your tasks according to: due date, task type, project, languages. - Grouping tasks in Inbox
When accessing tasks from the Inbox view, you can group tasks by various criteria in each of the three tabs. - Adding reference files to tasks
You can upload reference files as part of any Active task you own. Use the Files sub-tab of your task. - Returning accepted tasks you cannot work on
If you accepted a task, but you decide that you cannot work on it anymore, you can return it (release it). In this case, the other users assigned to it can claim it (accept it) or the project manager can assign it to someone else. - Accepting tasks from Trados Online Editor
You can accept a task you are assigned to straight from Trados Online Editor, without the need to return to the Inbox view. - Completing tasks
Once you finished working on the task assigned to you, mark it as Complete so it can move on to the next stage of the workflow automatically. Access the task assigned to you from the Inbox view. - Viewing completed tasks
When you view the list of completed tasks, only the tasks completed within the last three months are displayed. - Translator actions in Trados Online Editor

If an existing Administrator, Lead Project Manager, or Project Manager appoints you to be the project manager of a given project, then you will receive the permissions associated with the Project Manager role until the project is completed. In other words, you can work as a genuine project manager and have visibility over the project.
