Use cases for Trados Studio projects migrated to cloud

Consult the list of use cases for migrating Trados Studio projects to cloud.

Use case 1

  1. You are a Trados Studio user who creates a local project. You do not have anything translated in your project.
  2. You use the Save to Cloud wizard to migrate a local project to Trados Team.
  3. You use Trados Team to perform translation and review together with your team or associates.
  4. After the translation is finished in Trados Team, the target files are available both in Trados Team and in Trados Studio for download.

Use case 2

  1. You are a Trados Studio user who creates a local project. You translate something using PerfectMatch, AutoSuggest Dictionaries or some NMT engine not available in Trados Team.
  2. You use the Save to Cloud wizard to migrate a local project to Trados Team.
  3. You use Trados Team to perform translation and review together with your team or associates.
  4. After the translation is finished in Trados Team, the target files are available both in Trados Team and in Trados Studio for download.

Use case 3

  1. You are a Trados Studio user who creates a local project. You translate something using PerfectMatch, AutoSuggest Dictionarie or some NMT engine not available in Trados Team.
  2. You use the Save to Cloud wizard to migrate a local project to Trados Team.
  3. You use Trados Team to perform translation and review in Trados Online Editor and to store your TMs in the cloud.
