Viewing project details in Trados Customer Portal

After you create a project, you can check details such as the project creation date and due date, the project ID, the total number of words, the cost savings and the translation memory (TM) leverage per project file, as well as the cancelled files.

About this task

The fastest way to view the details of an existing project is to select that project directly from the Dashboard. If you cannot find it directly, use the following procedure to find it.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Trados Customer Portal (by accessing this link https://languagecloud.sdl.com/cp) and enable all browser cookies.
  2. On the All Projects page, select the appropriate filter.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Select the List The icon corresponding to the List view. view, identify the relevant project row, and then select it.

In this case, you can view the following project-related information in the panel on the right side of the screen: general details, such as its creator, due date, and status, the source and target languages, as well as the custom fields included in the project and their values.

    • Select the List The icon corresponding to the List view. view, identify the relevant project row, and then select the name of the project.

The Project Details page is displayed. On this page, you can view specific details such as the TM leverage for each translatable file, a detailed breakdown of the costs, as well as the source and reference files of the project; you can also upload additional files if necessary.

    • Select the Tiles The icon corresponding to the Tiles view. view, identify the relevant project tile, and then select Project Details.
  4. Select Refresh to check whether any updates have been made to your project.
The Refresh button has an orange circle next to it whenever the following information has been updated either in Trados Customer Portal, or in Trados:
    • The name or the description of the project.
    • The status of the project or of a file.
    • The analysis statistics.
    • The project group to which the project belongs.
A screen shot of the Refresh button.
  5. When finished, select X to close the Project Details page.
