Configuring a review resolution for Collective Spaces users

When a Collective Spaces user selects an image, the image pops up in a detail view. The resolution of that image in detail view defaults to the value for Preview resolution, as found under System > Default Settings in Organize Space. But you can configure a different resolution in which to show the image in that detail view by editing the Collective Spaces configuration XML.

Procedure

  1. Sign in to Organize Space as an administrator.
  2. On the top tab level, select the Settings tab.
  3. On the second tab level, select the XML Settings tab.
  4. On the third tab level, select the Collective Spaces tab.
  5. In the XML, find the line with the reviewResolution element. (If the element is commented out, remove the comment delimiters.)
  6. Ensure that the ishvaluetype attribute has the value value.
  7. Set the contents of the reviewResolutionelement to the name of the resolution in which you would like your Collective Spaces users to view images in detail view (for example, "Low" or "High"). You can find the names of your resolutions by going to Settings > System > Lists of Values and selecting Resolution from the dropdown list. Out of the box, the available resolutions are "High", "Low" and "Thumbnail".
  8. Select Save to save your changes.

Results

Users now see images they view in detail view in the resolution you configured.
