Organize Space introduced (15.0.0)

The Tridion Docs 15 release introduces Organize Space, a successor and replacement for the Web Client.

Organize Space is built from the ground up using ReactJS and the Tridion Docs OpenAPI. In addition to providing the features and functionality that were present in the Web Client, this new interface provides the following enhancements:
Better usability
  • A completely new user interface provides a more intuitive user experience.
  • Better filtering, sorting and search functionality make it easier to find what you are looking for.
Feature toggles
System default settings enable you to easily show or hide certain features.
In this release, the following features can be individually enabled:
  • Smart Tagging
  • Draft Space
  • Draft Space document history
  • Review Space
  • Review Space document history
Note that all these features require a paid license.
Privileges for non-administrators
More granular privileges on the User Role enable you to give more control to non-administrators. The following are just some of the privileges that are available:
  • Creating and updating a user
  • Undo checkout
  • Modifying status definitions
  • Modifying output formats
  • Managing list of values
Extensibility
You can extend the capabilities of the user interface, for example, by adding a custom sidebar.
This release offers the following extensions:
  • Menu item
  • Action button
  • Custom (disclaimer) links
  • Insight sidebar area
Exporting all objects from search results
In Organize Space, you can export all objects that result from a search action in one go, even if there are more results than can be shown on one results screen. There is no need to first make a selection of objects to export.
