Adding an image template

You can add the template to create new images in the client tools.

Before you begin

  • You must be a member of the system administration user group.
  • You must have permission to edit and store objects in the Content Manager repository.

Procedure

  1. Sign in to Organize Space as a user with administrator-level credentials.
  2. In Organize Space, on the top tab level, select the Content tab, then on the second tab level, select the Structured Content tab.
  3. Create an empty image template:
    1. Go to the System/Editor template/Illustrations/ folder.
      If this folder does not exist, create one by selecting Add new.
    2. In the folder, select Add new.
    3. Enter the name of this image in the Title field.
    4. Select or enter other optional information if necessary, then click Next in this and the next, add language, window.
    5. Select the Resolution from the list.
    6. Verify that the Format matches the type of template file you have.
    7. Click Browse next to the File field in the Add Image Document Language window.
    8. Select the file to use as a template.
  4. Release the template so users can select it.
    1. Go to the System/Editor template/Illustrations/ folder.
    2. In the upper right pane, select the template you added.
    3. Select the version and language in the bottom right pane
    4. Click Properties from the menu on the bottom right
    5. In the Image Document Language Properties window, select Released from the Status list.
    6. Click Modify.
