You can add the bookmap template to the Content Manager repository for users to apply when creating a bookmap.
Before you begin
- You must be a member of the system administration user group.
- You must have permission to edit and store objects in the Content Manager repository.
Procedure
- Sign in to Organize Space.
- To add a value to the list of values:
- Select the Settings tab, then the System subtab.
- Select the Lists of Values subsubtab.
- From the List of Values dropdown, select Map type.
The list of map types appears.
- Select Add new.
- In the Add new value to "Map Type" window, add the name of the template in the Name field.
For example, enter Bookmap.
- Optionally, add a Description which explains the proper use of the template.
- Click OK.
- Create the Bookmap template:
- In Organize Space, select the Content tab, then the Structure Content subtab.
- In the folder tree, go to .
- Select at top right.
The Add new map dialog opens.
- On the left, under Maps, select Bookmap.
- On the right, Enter "Bookmap" in the Title field.
- Select the \InfoShare\Web\Author\EnterViaUI\System\Editor Templates\Maps\Bookmap.dita file.
The file is located on your Content Manager application server. If you are on a client system, copy the file locally so you can select it.
- Release the Bookmap template so users can select it.
- In Organize Space, select the Content tab, then the Structure Content subtab.
- In the folder tree, go to .
- Select the Bookmap item.
- Open the Properties panel on the right.
- In the Workflow area, select Released from the Status dropdown list.
- Select Save to apply your changes.
