Configuring user settings
Configure user accounts, user interface settings, web service settings, and the preview size options.
- User accounts
User accounts provide login access to the repository. The account contains the user name, password, and information about the repository to which the user has access. The settings are used by Content Manager to check credentials, provide access, and define permissions (for example, read-write access) to the content in the repository. - Setting Default Accounts
When you have more than one user account defined, the default user account is used. You can select the user account to use as the default. - Updating User Accounts
You can change your language preferences, have the user account connect to another Content Manager environment, or change your password. - Changing user interface settings
You can change the language and font size depending on a user's requirements or preferences. - Preview settings
You can define a maximum file size for previewing objects. Do this to alleviate any problems with objects that are large and previewing takes too much time. - Web Services settings
Web Services are used to access the Content Manager Repository. You can configure a time-out for Web Services calls and the number of retries that should be performed when a call is unsuccessful.
