Customizing Content Manager
These topics contain information for developers and others who want to customize their Content Manager environment.
- Configuring the user interfaces
The main part of user interface configuration is common to Organize Space and the client tools. The properties dialogs configuration can also be used in Collective Spaces if this capability is enabled. - Customizing metadata fields and values
Metadata can be customized through the addition, update or removal of metadata fields, List of Values (LOV) and LOV values. - Customizing the HTML preview
By default, the HTML preview is configured for base DITA. If you are working with your own DITA specializations, or if you merely want to change the visual appearance, you can customize the preview by modifying the available XSL stylesheets. - Scripting the desktop clients
The Content Manager metadata configuration supports embedding scripts. When the script is loaded, any defined function is compiled using .NET Framework and is executed at run-time.
