Conditions listed in the categories are links to existing conditions under All Condition Names. Therefore, you can remove conditions from a category without affecting the conditions that are available to users. However, if you delete the condition from All Condition Names, it deletes it from any category in which it is referenced and makes it no longer available to users.
Before you begin
- You must be a member of the system administration user group.
- Condition Manager must be installed on your system.
Procedure
- In Condition Manager, click on the condition category from which you want to remove a condition.
- In the right pane, do one of the following:
- Click on the condition you want to remove then click
- Right-click on the condition that you want to remove then from the shortcut menu click Delete.
Remember, if you delete a condition from under
All Condition Names it is deleted from all categories in which it is referenced, and is deleted from use; that is, users cannot access the condition to add it to their document. However, if a condition is deleted from
All Condition Names the condition is not removed from documents in which it is used and can be used for output.
You can search for conditions in documents before deleting them.
