Sending translation jobs for translation

After creating a translation job, you must initiate sending it for translation. After sending the job for translation, its status changes and you can no longer modify the Translation Job. Only the jobs with a status of Definition can be modified.

Before you begin

To perform this task, you must have administrator-level credentials or translation management credentials.

Procedure

  1. In Organize Space, go to Content > Translation Jobs.
  2. From the list of jobs, select the Translation Job that you want to send to translation.
  3. Select Send to Translation in the button toolbar.
    The status changes to Ready for translation. Once translated, the status will change to Completed. By default, 90 days after getting the Completed status, the job is automatically deleted. To change this default duration, modify the parameter completedJobLifeSpan in the Translation Builder configuration file.
