You can reassign a Workflow Activity that is already assigned or even one that is already started.
Before you begin
To reassign activities that are not assigned to you (or to a group in which you are a member),
you must have System Administrator privileges or Workflow Management rights.
With Workflow Management rights, you can perform these actions only on items that are in Publications for which you have the right.
Procedure
- Access the Content Manager Explorer website.
- Select .
The list view displays the Activities currently in progress as part of a Workflow Process.
- Select the Activity you want to assign/reassign.
A list of users and groups appears.
- Select a group or an individual user from the list and click Assign.
The reassignment will have the following effect on where the activity appears to the users or groups involved:
- If the Activity was assigned to a group but not yet started, it disappears from the Assigned list of all members of the group, and appears in the Assigned list of the user you selected, or if you selected a group, in the Assigned list of all members of that group.
- If the Activity was already started by a user, it disappears from that user's Started list and appears in the Started list of the newly assigned user or if you assigned it to a group, it appears in the Assigned list of all members of that group.
