Working with Bundles in Content Manager Explorer
This section describes tasks you can perform in Content Manager Explorer related to Bundles.
- Creating a Bundle in Content Manager Explorer
You can create an empty Bundle from the Create tab. - Adding items to Bundles in Content Manager Explorer
You can add items to an existing Bundle or to a new Bundle you have just created. You can add the same item to multiple Bundles. You can also add a Bundle to another Bundle. - Removing items from Bundles in Content Manager Explorer
If needed, you can remove items from a Bundle by modifying the Bundle in Content Manager Explorer . For some item types, you can also modify the item itself to remove it from one or more Bundles. - Starting workflow on a Bundle in Content Manager Explorer
Unlike other items, Bundles do not enter a workflow process automatically in response to a trigger; instead, you must start workflow manually. Starting workflow on a Bundle puts into workflow the Bundle itself and all of the items it contains. - Publishing or unpublishing a Bundle in Content Manager Explorer
Publishing a Bundle causes all publishable items in the Bundle to be published. Likewise, unpublishing a bundle causes all items in the Bundle to be unpublished. Non-publishable items in the Bundle are ignored. - Bundle workflow properties in Content Manager Explorer
If your organization has implemented workflow, Bundles can be subject to a workflow process (determined by the Bundle Schema). The Workflow tab in a Bundle's properties shows current workflow details, including a history of activities.
