Structure Groups
In a Publication, you use Structure Groups to organize, manage, and provide a URL structure for Pages. Each Structure Group represents a separate (sub)section of the resulting website.
You can add Pages to each level of a Structure Group and then publish either the entire Structure Group or parts of the Structure Group. For example, the following image illustrates a simple Structure Group:
You can also use Structure Groups to:
- Manage user and group read, write, localize, and delete permissions for nested items (Pages and other Structure Groups).
- Capture metadata using metadata fields.
- Create a Workflow Process Association so that any Pages created or edited in the Structure Group will follow a Workflow Process.
