Experience Space client prerequisites

This topic lists the required and supported software for the Experience Space browser-based client user interface.

Recommended prerequisites

RWS recommends the following set of Experience Space prerequisites:

Operating systemThe latest release of any operating system for a supported device, on which the supported web browser of your choice runs
Web browser and device

Google Chrome (latest version) on a supported Windows desktop computer, or

Safari for the Mac (latest version) on a supported Mac desktop computer (except when using Private Browsing), or

Safari for the iPad (latest version) on a supported Apple iPad 6th generation (9.7" display)

Devices

The device on which Experience Space runs must be one of the following:
  • Any PC running a supported version of Microsoft Windows
  • Any Mac running a supported version of MacOS
  • Apple iPad 6th generation (9.7" display)

Operating system languages

The operating system on which Experience Space runs must be in one of the following languages:
  • US English
  • French
  • German
  • Spanish
  • Dutch
  • Japanese
  • Simplified Chinese

Operating system versions and editions

Supported: Experience Space runs on any desktop operating system that supports the supported internet browser of your choice.

As a general rule, ensure that the latest (security) updates are installed on your Microsoft Windows operating system.

Web browser

You can run Experience Space on the latest version of any of the following browsers:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Microsoft Edge (Chromium)
  • Safari
