You can add new global configuration items directly into a package even if they do not exist in your distribution server's global configuration.
Procedure
- If you are on a Legacy Content Delivery page, select Home in the breadcrumb trail.
The Legacy Content Delivery landing page appears.
- In the Administration Tools pane, click Manage Application.
The Manage Application page appears.
- Click Packaging.
- Click Add Profile.
- In the Name field, enter a name.
- Click Save.
- In the right pane, click Global Config.
- Click Add Item.
- Example:
- In the Name field, enter proxy.url
- In the Value field, enter https://lb.example.com/knowledgecenter (where
lb refers to an example load balancing server).
- Click Save to dismiss the pop-up window.
- Click Save to save the package profile.
- Click Export Package.
- When the Export Package Complete message appears, click Close.
- To confirm that the package was created, in the left pane, click Packaging.
Your new package should be listed.
