Analytics report types

Legacy Content Delivery provides four analytics report types to suit your needs. These include charts (pie, line, bar), and table formats. Most report types are interchangeable, offering you different views of the queried data.

Chart reports

You can visually represent report data as pie, line, or bar charts, or as a table. You can change the rendered format with another one to get a different view of the data without running again the report query: Legacy Content Delivery replaces the current view of the report in the content pane with the selected report format.

You can drag multiple instances of the same report into the content pane, and then change the report type to get different concurrent views of the same data.

Chart labels

Chart labels appear outside the perimeter of the chart. Also, when you hover over each part of the graphic in the chart, a tooltip opens to give you focused information that complements the chart label.

Table View reports

Table View reports present data in tabular format, and contain the following columns:
  • Value shows an accumulation. The context of this accumulation depends on the report type. For example, Top Search Queries and Topic Bounce Rate.
  • Topic Title shows the string extracted from the <title \> element. You can hover over Topic Title to reveal the Globally Unique Identifier (GUID) that Content Manager uses to track the topic.
  • Publications shows the publications to which the topic belongs.
  • Language shows the written language of the topic or publication.

Report granularity

The granularity of the scale presented on each axis will vary, as will the chart labels, depending on the following activities:
  • How many reports are open in the content pane.
  • The size of the browser window.
  • Applied filter settings.
