Clearing Cache
Clearing the cache's content may be a prerequisite to some operations, such as changing XSL customization.
About this task
To manually clear the cache, you can Prepare a language version or clear the cache through the Legacy Content Delivery interface.
If you are customizing XSL, you may want to disable caching. If you do not, it is possible that you will not see the changes you are making to the XSL in the rendered documents. This is because changing XSL does not invalidate the document cache.
Perform one of the following procedures.
- To manually clear the cache for all language versions:
- If you are on a Legacy Content Delivery page, select Home in the breadcrumb trail. The Legacy Content Delivery landing page appears.
- In the Administration Tools pane, click Manage Publications.
- Click Clear Cache.
- Click OK.
- To manually clear the cache for a single language version:
- If you are on a Legacy Content Delivery page, select Home in the breadcrumb trail. The Legacy Content Delivery landing page appears.
- In the Administration Tools pane, click Manage Publications.
- In the left pane, navigate to the language version in which you want to clear the cache.
- Click Clear Cache.
- Click OK.
