Creating publications and language versions
In Legacy Content Delivery , a publication is a logical grouping of information (topics and multimedia, including images and Shockwave Flash animations) related to a specific subject. A publication contains data in one or more languages which are stored in separate language versions where the content is uploaded, then prepared and made live for your users to view.
About this task
You have one language version for each language you will publish for the publication (for example, en or he). An example of a publication might be a repair manual for an airplane.
This procedure shows the manual steps for creating publications and language versions in Legacy Content Delivery . If you are publishing from a content management system (for example, Content Manager), you do not use this interface. Consult the content management system documentation for details about creating publications and language versions.
