Directory Server Authentication

When using Directory Server authentication, user accounts and profiles are managed entirely through MultiTrans’ Directory Server. For protection, encryption is used to transfer account information over the network.

Certain parameters can be set to enforce stronger passwords, including minimum password length for administrative and non-administrative users and password expiry timelines.

Accounts will be locked after a (configurable) number of failed login attempts, for a (configurable) amount of time.

Login events are created, tracking all successful and failed connections to MultiTrans.
