SAML Authentication
SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) is the most common authentication method used when a server is hosted in the cloud. This allows users to authenticate via their own internal directory service, and offers single sign-on to MultiTrans.
Both service provider (SP)-initiated and identity provider (IdP)-initiated methods are available, however service-provider initiated is recommended as links found in notifications will take users to the login page when using IdP-initiated SAML, whereas the same links will take users directly to the project, task or document when using SP-initiated SAML.
