Configuring <SmartTarget>
The <SmartTarget> section in the smarttarget_conf.xml configuration file is where you can manage SmartTarget content sent to Fredhopper and SmartTarget content on the Presentation Server.
- <TimeZoneOffset> element
The<TimeZoneOffset>element specifies the difference, in hours and minutes, from the Content Delivery system to the Content Manager system's local server time. - <Analytics> element
The<Analytics>element in thesmarttarget_conf.xmlconfiguration file specifies configuration settings relating to Google Analytics and your Google developer account. - <Tcdl> element
The<Tcdl>element allows you to configure Tridion Content Delivery Language (TCDL) settings. TCDL is SDL Tridion's platform-independent language which Content Delivery transforms into JSP/ASP.NET/REL script code. - <DefaultValues> element
The<DefaultValues>child element<AllowDuplicates>is a Boolean to configure whether to display content items already displayed in preceding regions on a Web page. The<DefaultValues>element is a Presentation Server setting. - <Referrers> element
The<Referrers>element specifies the path to thesmarttarget.referrers.xmlconfiguration file. The<Referrers>element is a Presentation Server setting. - <AmbientData> element
The<AmbientData>element allows you to map the long Claim URIs stored in the Ambient Data Framework to unique prefixes used in thetrigger-types.xml. The<AmbientData>element is a Presentation Server setting. - <ExcludeFields> element
The<ExcludeFields>element specifies the Schema fields, Metadata Schema fields, and Embedded Schema fields you want to exclude from being published to Fredhopper. - <ShortPublicationName> element
The<ShortPublicationName>element indicates an abbreviated Publication name to use in the Business Manager. - <Regions> element
The<Regions>element defines the Page Regions available for selection in the user interface when creating a Promotion.
