Configuring Source/Target content
An item can contain content that requires translating and in turn, the translated content can be used as the source of a translation. This task describes how to configure an item in your Translation BluePrint which contains source and target content.
Before you begin
To configure an item that contains target content and source content:
- You must have Translation Configuration rights for the Publication
- You must have configured items—Publications, Folders, Structure Groups, or Categories—that contain source content in a Parent Publication in the BluePrint hierarchy.
- For SDL Translation Management System (SDL TMS), you require the Configuration ID or GUID.
- For World Server, you require Client and Project Type information—a Client is an organization or a department within an organization, and a Project Type contains the definitions of a translation project such as source language. A Client is associated to one or more Project Types.
