Configuring the connector

When you configure the connector on the Trados Settings page, you establish a connection to Trados and specify the types of content you want to have translated, as well as the languages you want to use for translation.

Procedure

  1. Go to the Trados Settings page and enter the client ID, the client secret, the ID of the Trados tenant, as well as the audience in the appropriate boxes.
RWS will provide this information through a suitable means of communication.
  2. Under Source language, select Akeneo source language.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • If you want all the attributes in the product to be sent for translation, select the Select all attributes check box.
    • If you want to choose only certain attributes to be sent for translation, clear the Select all attributes check box, and then specify the attributes that you want to be translated in the Attributes box.
  4. Under Akeneo to RWS language mapping, enter the corresponding RWS language code for each Akeneo language.
Keep in mind that RWS language codes (de-DE, ja-JP) might differ from Akeneo language codes (de_DE, ja_JP).
  5. Select Save.

What to do next

At this point, you will be able to select products to send for translation.
