Creating projects from Trados Studio

You can create cloud projects from Trados Studio and manage them in Trados Enterprise.

Before you begin

Make sure that you created (and configured) your file type configurations, your linguistic resources and your project templates in Trados Enterprise so that they are visible for selection in Trados Studio. The Trados Studio cloud project creation wizard can redirect your to Trados Enterprise so you can create new resources, but the process can be time-consuming.

To download Trados Studio, create an account and either register for a free trial or buy a license.

About this task

  • If you are an administrator or a lead project manager, you can create cloud projects from Trados Studio 2021 (or higher), but you cannot perform any project management or administrative activities from Trados Studio (work on Project Planning tasks, create project resources, reassign users, invite users into your account, assign roles and so on).
