Downloading the files of all your accepted tasks

You can download the files of all your accepted tasks as a *.zip archive. You can then work on these files offline and upload them individually after you finish your work. You can also choose to download only completed files (by selecting the Only completed files check box).

About this task

You can bulk download files for the following task types: Translation, Linguistic Review, Implement Linguistic Review. You must accept the tasks before being able to download their latest available file version.

Trados Studio does not support creating and working on projects which have the same source and target language. Local file download is restricted for these projects.

Note that if you select Target files, you can also choose to download only completed files (by selecting the Only completed files check box).
    • Identify tasks from one project and select their check boxes. Choose the type of file you want to download: Target files > Current version, Target files > Native version, Source files. Note that if you select Target files, you can also choose to download only completed files (by selecting the Only completed files check box).
  8. Extract the files from the *.zip archive and work offline on the current version (latest version):
    • For the Translation, Linguistic Review, and Implement Linguistic Review tasks, the current version is an *.sdlxliff file. The file name is concatenated as follows: task ID + Underscore symbol + target file name + source file extension + sdlxliff.
  9. Work on your files offline:
    • Translate or edit the files.
    • Rename the files.
    • Save the file with a different file type extension. If you change the file type extension, make sure the new file type extension is included and configured in the file type configuration of the project.
